Question:
Math 116 is far from the hardest course at UofM. Just saying...

Answer:
It’s not the hardest, let me rephrase. It’s the most failed class.
This has been my week. It’s too easy to just not go to class.

Question:
Hi! I'm a high school student who really wants to get into U of M, so I was wondering what your high school grades/GPA was when you got in. And what you would recommend me doing to get in. Thanks :D
Asked by Anonymous
Answer:
Well, I had a GPA of about 3.89, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that you need that high of GPA. Here is a graph that shows the GPA and ACT/SAT scores of students and whether or not they were accepted. (pay attention to the blue and green dots) As for recommendations, AP classes always look good on transcripts and so do extra curricular activities. This would include National Honor Society, community service groups, music/theatre groups, and even sports teams.
Best of luck and go blue! (:
Question:
Generally speaking, why is college Spanish so much harder than say, level four high school Spanish? What would you say is different about high school Spanish to college Spanish? I mean no offense, I've been hearing that is SUPER difficult across the board, but I'n too embarrassed to ask anyone else why. :3

Answer:
It really depends on how your high school taught it and what level you go into in college. So in my high school level 4 spanish, we didn’t speak spanish at all times and still used a lot of english. And then I went into second year college spanish and it is entirely in spanish. It was such a dramatic change and I didn’t know enough so I dropped the class. So I would say that if you’re comfortable listening and comprehending spanish, and answering in spanish it would be easier, otherwise it’ll take a lot of work. But it is college. Hope this helped! (:
Math 116
Considered one of the hardest classes at the University. Pretty sure I just pwn’d the first midterm though! Can’t wait to get my grade!
I got a B on my paper!
Considering it was my first college paper and the first paper I’ve written in quite some time…
